Summary

Imagination has unveiled the next generation of automotive IP for automotive silicon platforms: a new product family designed and built specifically for automotive safety-critical use cases.

This new GPU family addresses the growing industry need for increased safety capabilities in all automotive silicon IP, thus enabling the use of GPU acceleration for next-generation use cases, such as ADAS, digital dashboards and surround-view systems. The next wave of vehicle systems will mandate this safety capability and so this new product family contains solutions that will enable safety at every performance point and use case.

Session outcome

In the session, we will explore the features and capabilities of this new automotive range and look at some of the advanced technologies that deliver up to 2x higher performance than competing solutions while executing safety-critical workloads.

We’ll also take a look at the results of the architectural optimisations we’ve made for high-performance automotive compute workloads and we’ll be highlighting some of the unique technologies which make our GPUs the best choice for automotive silicon.
