In this AI era, as a high-performance hardware accelerator the GPU, in addition to graphics, is playing a more important role in the fields of general-purpose computing, machine vision, deep learning, and training inference. Open and standardised APIs are further improving the efficiency of advanced computing and expanding the scope of the GPU, helping developers to deploy their applications to the wider market.
To embrace the opportunities and challenges of the evolving digital landscape, the Khronos Group, an industry organisation dedicated to open API standards, joined Imagination on 19 July in Shanghai, China in a seminar focusing on forward-looking innovation and ecological collaboration. This webinar is an on-demand recording of what happened on that day.
