PowerVR Series9XMP features Imagination’s groundbreaking PVRIC4™ to provide visually lossless texture compression, guaranteeing a 50% reduction in system bandwidth and memory footprint, bringing valuable cost savings to SoC manufacturers. Full support for the latest API standards such as OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1 and the Android Neural Networks API, provides developer flexibility and the most efficient use of hardware to maximise performance.

Optimised and enhanced

PowerVR Series9XMP is built on PowerVR’s Rogue architecture, featuring Imagination’s unmatched, industry-proven, tile-based deferred rendering technique, for the most efficient use of framebuffer memory in the industry. Thanks to ALUs that have doubled in width from 16 to 32 pipelines in parallel, within a single ALU cluster, along with enhancements to data paths, atomic operations and the compute data master, the PowerVR Series9XMP delivers a performance density improvement of up to 45% over the previous generation architecture.
