Key Features

Scalable ray tracing

IMG DXT offers ray tracing in several configurations and performance points using its ray acceleration cluster (RAC). This means that manufacturers looking to deliver a ray-tracing capable device at a lower cost can take a half-RAC per SPU to provide the ultimate mobile visual experience. DXT offers single, dual, triple and quad-RAC configurations.

Fragment shading rate

Fragment Shading Rate (FSR) decreases the number of fragments processed and significantly increases graphics performance with minimal impact on visual quality. FSR makes ray-traced effects more efficient as fewer rays are sent into the scene.

Smooth performance

The DXT GPU delivers 50% more top-end compute and texture performance per SPU (Scalable Processing Unit) than the previous generation thanks to a new Universal Shader Cluster (USC) design.

Mainstream mobile

Casual gaming, internet browsing and social media applications on competitive devices that keep performing all day long.
