Distributed Safety Mechanisms

A range of safety mechanisms located throughout the core that together achieve the coverage for fault detection required by ASIL-B without the PPA overheads of legacy methods.

Optimised for Compute

An additional scalable processing unit (SPU) combines with an extra pipeline for FP16 workloads and a set of highly optimised OpenCL Compute Libraries (imgNN, imgBLAS, imgFFT) to deliver performance increases up to x10 compute performance compared to previous generation automotive IP.

Chiplet Ready Multi-core Scaling

Imagination's multi-core technology features a low bandwidth bus and support for freedom from interference that enables IMG DXS to be used in chiplet projects.

Hardware-based Virtualisation

Imagination's hardware based virtualisation solution supports up to eight separate operating systems on a single GPU, each fully isolated in memory, for secure multitasking – including mixed criticality workloads.

Entry level ADAS

Vehicles targeting L1 “feet free” style ADAS workloads, such as Cruise Control.

Premium ADAS
