About the speaker

Kristof Beets, Senior Director of Product Management and Technology Marketing – PowerVR Graphics, Imagination Technologies

Kristof Beets is Senior Director of Product Management and Technical Marketing for PowerVR at Imagination Technologies. In this role he is responsible for ensuring products are aligned with strategic partner and market requirements.

Previous responsibilities in his 17-year career at Imagination have included business development, ecosystem management, and competitive analysis; in his early days he worked on SDKs and tools for both PC and mobile products as a member of the PowerVR Developer Relations Team.

Mr. Beets has published articles on 3D graphics in the ShaderX and GPU Pro series of books and has spoken at numerous technology conferences including GDC, SIGGRAPH, Embedded Technology Japan, and Mobile World Congress. He has a background in electrical engineering and received a Master’s degree in artificial intelligence from KU Leuven, Belgium.
